Heavy hide, honest hardware
We use a 1.4mm full grain cowhide here, which is heavier than most high street jackets and the reason this one holds its shape at the shoulder. The first month is stiff. After that the hide takes the shape of how you actually move, and the creases at the elbow and the waist become the only thing that dates it.
- 1.4mm full grain cowhide, vegetable tanned
- Asymmetric YKK Excella zip with a leather pull
- Quilted viscose lining through the body, cotton in the sleeve
- Two zip hand pockets and an inner chest pocket
- Belted waist tab, snap collar with a throat latch
Do not force the break in. Wear it, and condition it once a year with a neutral balm.
