The point of a refillable journal is that the leather outlives the notebooks. This cover takes three A5 inserts on elastic cords, so you can run a diary, a work notebook and a sketch pad at the same time and swap any one of them out when it fills. The tumbled hide softens quickly and takes the shape of whatever it is carried against.
